On Thursday Team Good Speed!, DEN-597 (Skipper Claus Höj Jensen) sailed for the win of the first race. Wind was approx. 8–9 m/s SW. Second race went to Finns Team BMW, FIN-946, Vesa Luhtanen, Markku and Jukka Karjalainen. Winner of the third race was SWE-608. Team Good Speed! leads the regatta after five races. On Monday the 4th of August there were tune-up race on a programme. The hard wind that started on Sunday continued and teams could not leave the harbour. Wind was approximately 15–18 m/s east. Wind direction was also the worst possible.

On Tuesday competition jury made a decision to cancel the races. Mr. Kalle Niemi told that weather forecast for wind was approximately 23–24 m/s. Because of the cancellation today tomorrows programme changed. Skippers’ meeting begins at 8.00 and a first start at 10.00 if the wind will lighten enough.
